Davanti appoints sales manager for Southeast Europe
Danijel Tomasic has been named Davanti Tyres’ sales manager for Southeast Europe and takes on responsibility for expanding the brand’s sales in the Balkan countries and the south east of Europe. He brings significant automotive aftermarket experience with him and joins Davanti from Michelin, where worked for three years as an account manager for the Croatian and Bosnian markets.

The Executive Board for the newly-created ZF division, ZF Aftermarket, has been named. Steering the new aftermarket organisation as of 1 January 2017 under division head Helmut Ernst, are Neil Fryer (senior vice-president IAM, OES, and market and product), Evelyne Zaffino (vice-president human resources and Andreas Koetz (senior vice-president manufacturing, materials management and quality. Thomas Henne, the current senior vice-president finance, process-, IT-management and compliance of ZF Services, will work towards transferring this management role to Daniele Pontarollo by 1 March 2017.

A restructuring of the marketing team for Bridgestone Europe’s Central Region was implemented at the start of this year, and this has been accompanied by three new appointments. Julia Krönlein is now head of marketing for the region and takes on responsibility for all marketing activities and product management for the consumer business in the German, Austrian and Swiss markets. Long-time Bridgestone employee Stefan Lamp has been appointed product marketing manager for the consumer business, while Christian Blazekovic has been named head of brand and communication for the consumer and commercial business.

As of 1 February, Timo Tervolin will take over global responsibility for Process Development at Nokian Tyres. Tervolin, who currently serves as vice-president of Strategy and Corporate Development, succeeds Alexej von Bagh, who is leaving the company. In a statement, Nokian Tyres thanked von Bagh for his “long-term service and all his efforts toward the company.”
