February new van market “steady” says SMMT
SMMT figures show the new van market achieved a steady performance in February, with registrations at the same level as this time last year, when the sector recorded a seven-year high. 13,891 new light commercial vehicles (LCVs) were registered in February – traditionally one of the quietest months of the year.

Data from industry analysts CAP and The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders for Q4 2105 shows that the number of new cars fitted with digital radio as standard grew to 80.1 per cent, compared to 7.5 per cent in Q4 2010 and 61.2 per cent in Q4 2014. This is the second biggest quarterly increase since monitoring began in 2010.

The NMDA Autumn 2015 Dealer Attitude Survey, published 2 November 2015, shows that the all dealer average when asked about the overall value of the franchise remained stable at 6.6 since the last survey in spring 2015. Harley Davidson, KTM and Kawasaki were recorded as the top 3 franchises, while the BMW, Honda and Piaggio Group were least valued.
