Stating that such an acquisition would be “in perfect strategic alignment with its ambition to leverage its expertise in high-technology materials,” Michelin has announced its intention to purchase UK-based firm Fenner PLC.

His current role will expand as of 3 April 2018. Michael Ellis, Michelin Guide international director, and his inspection teams will report directly to him.
Nokian Tyres has appointed Mark Earl vice-president of its Americas business area. He will start in this position on 1 May 2018 and report to Hille Korhonen, the tyre maker’s president and chief executive officer.
