HiQ and Carsa expand partnership with 2 new locations

Following the news in September 2024 that HiQ Tyres & Autocare and Carsa are cooperating, they are expanding their strategic partnership with the opening of two new autocare centres in Greater Manchester and Leicestershire.
Energy storage solutions firm Clarios is “marking a milestone in advanced energy storage for modern vehicles,” having produced its one-millionth 12-volt lithium-ion battery on 31 January 2025.

Transense and Haltec agree tyre inspection tool partnership

Transense Technologies plc’s Translogik division has secured a distribution agreement with Haltec Corporation, which is known for itstyre valve and management solutions in North America.
Following the news that Toyo Tire Corporation’s 14 February 2025 board of director’s meeting resolved to transfer 86 per cent of its equity interests in its Chinese subsidiary (Toyo Tire Zhangjiagang Co.
Initially scheduled for implementation in April 2025, on 5 February the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) announced that it has put back the start date to April 2026.
The Shanghai Stock Exchange Listing Review Committee announced that ZC Rubber “meets the issuance conditions, listing conditions and information disclosure requirements”.
Restructuring costs weigh upon Bridgestone in 2024 – Profit down 12.8%

Bridgestone Corporation has reported consolidated financial results for the fiscal year 2024, showing moderate revenue growth but declines in operating and net profit compared to the previous year.
Yokohama Rubber has further expanded its original equipment supply activities in China with a new deal with Lynk & Co, the firm established in 2016 as a three-way joint venture and, from 14 February 2025, a non-wholly owned subsidiary of Zeekr Intelligent Technology.
