115 Hungary-made Bridgestone Blizzak tyres recalled in USA

115 Bridgestone Blizzak 6 235/40 R19 tyres manufactured by Bridgestone Firestone Europe SA and imported by Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC have been recalled. The reason? “The subject tyres do not comply with the tyre markings requirements in S5.5(a) of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. (“FMVSS”) 139. In other words, they don’t have a DOT code on the sidewall.
