Yokohama sends condolences, supports Spain flood relief efforts
The Yokohama Rubber Group has sent its ”deepest condolences” to the families of the many people who lost their lives in the flooding that occurred in the province of Valencia in eastern Spain on 29 October 2024, extending “heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the disaster”.
Yokohama Europe GmbH, the Yokohama Rubber Group’s European regional headquarters company in Germany, made a donation through Caritas, an international charity, to support the reconstruction of devastated areas in Valencia. Also, immediately after the disaster, Yokohama Iberia S.A., the Group’s local tyre sales company, delivered supplies such as gloves and daily necessities to temporary evacuation centres, including schools in the Province of Valencia, and is still providing ongoing support.
