Michelin launches Primacy 5

Michelin has launched the Primacy 5, the latest in its popular and acclaimed range of passenger car tyres for the everyday motorist. The tyre manufacturer says the Primacy 5 improves on the 4+ in terms of lifespan, rolling resistance, comfort, and noise, while also maintaining the high safety and performance levels of the predecessor. Calling this “an amazing feat,” Michelin emphasises the importance of research and development investment and know-how in achieving such advances. It also says the Primacy 5 “maintains” its performance throughout the life of the tread. The manufacturer also says the tyre has been made to deliver these advantages on all vehicles, continuing Michelin’s electric vehicle tyre strategy of ensuring its entire range can be fitted to EVs.
