Sailun bringing Road to Cologne 2024 tour to UK

For the Sailun Group, the weeks between now and the start of The Tire Cologne on 4 June 2024 will be occupied by its Road to Cologne 2024 event. Sailun will visit six key markets in the coming weeks to help its European dealer network get better acquainted with its range, including products boasting the latest EcoPoint3 technology.
Showcasing a diverse array of electric, hybrid, and ICE vehicle models equipped with the latest generations of Sailun tyres, the tour will traverse Germany, Poland, Italy, France, Spain, and the UK. Collaborating closely with key partners in these markets, the Roadshow will immerse participants in country-specific programmes, which Sailun will also share across social media platforms and within content developed for The Tire Cologne.
“A special, compact but no less demanding tour with many stops and stopovers at dealers in our important European core markets,” comments Stephan Cimbal, marketing director at Sailun Europe. “We are particularly keen to offer our local partners the opportunity to not only get an idea of the latest range of tyres and their specific characteristics on site in the markets, but also to enter into a direct dialogue with them and making them an integral part of our story.”
Press conference on 4 June
The five-week journey aims to reinforce and expand Sailun’s standing within European core markets and will culminate at The Tire Cologne. A press conference is scheduled for the exhibition on Tuesday 4 June 2024, at 11am; Sailun will hold this in Hall 07.1, Stand C040. The company will also unveil its latest passenger car, truck and bus radials as well as specialty products. It is preparing “up to 20 new models” for presentation, adding that the event will also debut a “new development and approach” for electric vehicles and hybrids in Europe.
“We always compete with a clear premium claim in all areas and thus guarantee the right performance in all weather and road conditions in addition to safety, control and energy efficiency,” says Cimbal. “It is important for us to make it clear that behind every new Sailun tyre there is always an inspiring story that tells of how our belief in innovation helps to turn visions into reality.
“Our purpose is: Make great tyres – that’s why we see ourselves as ambassadors in the field of tyre innovation and are convinced that our quest for constant improvement of tyre technology can overcome the limits of what is possible today. And there is another aspect based on consumer insights that we must not forget when thinking about making great tyres, that we will share at Tire Cologne 2024.”
