Hamaton launches diagnostic tools update resource

Hamaton and Ateq TPMS diagnostic tools require regular updates of the WebVT software required to run these devices. Released on a quarterly basis, these updates include new European vehicle brands covered by their tool range, and providing the latest aftermarket TPMS sensor coverage to their protocol database.

To summarise which of their sensors, and those from other major brands, are affected by the updates provided by Ateq, Hamaton has created a new Diagnostic Tools Update webpage with additional videos, installation guides, software downloads and drivers to support users updating their diagnostic tools quicker and more efficiently.

The latest WebVT update, version 8.19, reportedly features improvements to the stability and reliability of software updates across global internet providers, enabling all Wi-Fi-enabled tools to update more efficiently when updating via a wireless connection, alongside the usual vehicle and sensor coverage.
