Falken adjusting prices from 1 June

Falken Tyre Europe shares that it will “implement structural price adjustments across Europe” from 1 June 2024. These changes affect the Falken and Sumitomo tyre brands in different product segments. The company has shared no details regarding specific price adjustments; Andreas Giese, the company’s chief corporate officer corporate & product planning, explains that providing exact information about how prices will change isn’t possible for several reasons, including currency fluctuations and changes in INCOTERMS.
For the Falken brand, the price adjustments apply to the entire winter season segment, including studded and non-studded winter and Nordic tyres for the passenger car, 4×4/SUV, van/light commercial vehicle and truck segments. Price adjustments for the Sumitomo brand only apply to winter tyres for the car and 4×4/SUV segments.
The new prices will apply to all deliveries from 1 June 2024. “The absolute changes in consumer tyres are plus/minus zero percent, which is why we are talking about structural changes,” Giese adds. He also says that the price changes for trucks/trailers are in the range of minus one to minus two per cent, meaning that will become correspondingly cheaper.
