Cimcorp appoints new VP

Cimcorp has added Anne Happonen to its executive leadership team, as part of her appointment vice president of operations. Happonen’s experience includes responsibilities with Cargotec, Sandvik, and Patria where she has had “a strong hold on global megaprojects and leading diverse teams”.
Happonen reports that here leadership philosophy is grounded in the principles of transparency, collaboration, and adaptability. She describes herself a leader of people over issues and values the art of listening, conversation, and finding common ground:
“Successful leadership is about enabling the ease of others’ work and fostering a culture of openness and trust. My wish is to provide my team with the best possible conditions to thrive in their jobs. I strive to be approachable and inspire teams to achieve their goals. My own inspiration stems from seeing people do their work with pride.”
Happonen further emphasizes the importance of understanding the big picture while remaining agile in the face of evolving challenges. Even when talking business, she appreciates the humanity of each participant:
“Any negotiation is about people. The person on the opposite side of the table will see you as an individual if you are willing to do the same for them. Honesty and humanity are of high value in international business.”
At the same time, he approach is inevitably interconnected with delivering results for Cimcorp: “I enjoy the fact that a project has a beginning and an end; it is prepared, done, and finished.
