Yokohama Rubber back in the black in Russia

Several tyre makers have sold their manufacturing operations in Russia since 2022; Yokohama Rubber has not. L.L.C. Yokohama R.P.Z. suspended operations at its Lipetsk passenger car tyre plant in March of that year due to issues with raw material procurement, resuming production in August 2022.
According to Russian newspaper Kommersant, this extended production pause led to a net loss of 395 million roubles (£3.36 million) in 2022. The situation was somewhat different last year, with a 50 per cent increase in revenue, to 4.5 billion roubles (£38.33 million), supporting a 2023 net profit of 219 million roubles (£1.87 million).
