New Dębica Presto budget SUV tyre

At the start of March, Goodyear launched the Dębica Presto in Europe. The Dębica Presto is aimed at “modern SUVs” and is said to offer “excellent wet grip and efficiency”. The first new SKUs have been available since January. A total of 22 new sizes will be on the market by August 2024.

The Dębica Presto range is focused on rim diameters between 16 and 19 inches, reflecting evolving consumer demand for larger SUVs. In addition, the new tyre reportedly addresses the increasing importance of budget summer tyre segment which has grown by 3.6 per cent over the last five years, according to GfK sell-out data from Austria, France, Germany, UK, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Italy and Greece between 2019 and 2023 inclusive.

The Dębica Presto features a number of technologies designed for versatile applications, delivering dependable performance and robustness also for larger vehicles. In addition, the tyre is said to offer excellent fuel efficiency thanks to a low rolling-resistant tread compound.
