Magna Tyres presenting truck range, TPMS at The Tire Cologne

Netherlands-based tyre company Magna Tyres confirms its presence as an exhibitor at this year’s The Tire Cologne in Germany, stating that participation in the tyre industry show aligns with its “ongoing brand image momentum in the heavy tyre market sector.” The Magna Tyres sales team will present a range of products for mining, earthmoving, industrial, port handling, crane operations and agricultural applications. They will also highlight two recent additions to the product line-up, the M-Truck tyre series and Magna’s proprietary Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
M-Truck
Magna Tyres designed the M-Truck tyre series for various trucking applications, including hauling, tanker transport, and trailers, across long-haul, regional, and construction operations. These tyres feature a steel-belted casing and a rubber compound that, according to Magna Tyres, provides enhanced puncture resistance. Magna adds that the M-Truck’s tread pattern “guarantees outstanding field and road traction performance whilst effectively reducing vibration when driven at road speed.” The tyre’s self-cleaning capabilities are credited with improving levels of grip.
Magna Tyres currently offers the M-Truck series in eight pattern options, each tailored to specific industrial applications. These are the RG10, RG11, RG20, RG30, RG31, CO10, C020 and CO30. For more details on the M-Truck range, click here.
Magna TPMS
Additionally, Magna Tyres will introduce its in-house TPMS System in Europe for the first time. This system provides real-time monitoring of tyre pressure and temperature, issuing alerts for moderate and extreme readings even when machinery is inactive. It enables swift response to field situations by promptly identifying issues and offering solutions. The system sends automatic email notifications to relevant personnel within the organization and is accessible through both desktop and mobile applications (IOS/Android).
Features include specialised valve sensors for continuous monitoring of pressure, heat, speed, and distance, with data collected and transmitted in real-time via the Magna Gateway. Fleet managers can use this system to monitor their entire fleet worldwide, reducing downtime, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Magna Tyres will demonstrate its TPMS system to visitors during The Tire Cologne’s three show days, 4 to 6 June.
