Following the inauguration of its Serbia plant, Linglong switching truck tyre production to Europe

Linglong Tire is relocating the production of truck tyres for the European market to its newly inaugurated factory in Serbia from their previous production base in China and Thailand, Tyrepress sister website Reifenpresse reports. According to the Chinese manufacturer, the Serbia plant is “one of the most modern tyre factories in the world.” With four new tyre series and a total of 47 new products or product sizes, the product range includes truck tyres for all purposes, all of which were “developed specifically for the European market.” Serbian president Aleksandar Vučić told Chinese media that Linglong could become the country’s “fifth or sixth-largest exporter” thanks to the new plant.

The latest Linglong regional truck tyres, Linglong R-S30 for the steering axle, Linglong R-D30 for the drive axle, and Linglong R-T30 for trailers, use Linglong’s latest SOCT technology “to achieve excellent mileage, grip and longevity.” All tyres are available in the standard 22.5-inch sizes and carry the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake marking, showing they are suitable for winter use.

Linglong long-haul tyres such as the 19.5-inch Linglong L-T10, which was specially designed for semi-trailers, impress with “consistently high tyre performance,” while also contributing “to reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.” All tyres with the L-T10 profile are also 3PMSF marked.

The profiles Linglong L-S20 for the steering axle, Linglong L-D20 for the drive axle and Linglong L-T20 for the trailer, which are suitable for light and medium-sized trucks, are available in all relevant 17.5 and 19.5 inch sizes. Linglong says they offer “the versatility and durability that companies need to ensure safe and timely deliveries in and around cities.” All L-T20 tires are 3PMSF marked.

The Linglong profiles M-A40 (all-position tyre), Linglong M-D40 and Linglong M-D41 (both drive axle fitments) are used in the construction industry and in quarries. Linglong says: “The robust tyres offer excellent grip, excellent mileage, high durability and are ideal for handling heavy loads in harsh conditions. All tyres are available in the main 22.5-inch sizes and are 3PMSF marked, which means they are also suitable for winter use.”

In addition to the tyres, Linglong also offers a 24-hour breakdown service across Europe for fleet and truck customers, which is available around the clock and is intended to help “quickly and easily” in the event of a breakdown or tyre defect.
