Goodride Solmax 1 performs in 2024 ADAC test

In this year’s summer tyre test, German automobile club ADAC took a close look at 16 current 215/55 R17 models – including the Goodride Solmax 1 for the first time. The ZC Rubber-produced summer tyre scored well in several criteria. Indeed, in the overall ranking, Goodride Solmax 1 beats at least one European brand.
ADAC testers gave positive feedback on environmental impact, with the Goodride Solmax 1 achieving an excellent score of 2.2 for fuel consumption thanks to its low rolling resistance. In terms of total efficiency, the final score of this tyre was rated at 2.4, which is an excellent performance. In terms of driving safety, the Solmax 1 tyre convinced testers with its short braking distance on dry roads. Testers gave the tyre equally good ratings for its aquaplaning behaviour, with a lateral dynamic score of 2.4 and a longitudinal dynamic score of 2.5. With an average price of €120, the Goodride Solmax 1 is one of the most affordable models in the ADAC summer tyre test.
The performance of Goodride Solmax 1 has been confirmed by TÜV SÜD, an internationally renowned testing organisation. The new flagship tyre of the Goodride brand was developed by ZC Rubber specifically for the European market. ZC Rubber is one of the top 10 tyre manufacturers in the world and a market leader in China.
Wang Jianbo, chief engineer of PLT Product Development, said: “The Goodride Solmax 1 is one of the premium products in our portfolio. It meets the high requirements of well-known vehicle manufacturers in the OEM business and, with its good price-performance ratio, is also becoming increasingly popular in the European replacement market. The ADAC test, with some very pleasing individual ratings, reflects the great expertise and commitment of our research and development work.”
