Hankook sponsoring UK truck shows

Visitors to three trucking events taking place in the UK this summer will have the opportunity to get better acquainted with the Hankook and Laufenn truck tyre ranges. In addition to continuing its support of the Devon and Cornwall shows, as of this year Hankook Tyre UK has announced its sponsorship of the Best of the Best event.

The show calendar sees Hankook participating at the Devon Truck Show on 18 and 19 May, followed by the Truck Show Cornwall at Stithians Showground, Truro on 26 to 28 July. Last but not least, Hankook will be present at the new ‘by invitation only’ ‘Best of the Best’ Truck Show at Westpoint Arena, Exeter on 14 and 15 September.

The Hankook truck tyres on display will include the 22.5″ SmartFlex AH51 (steer) and SmartFlex DH51 (drive) – products that, according to the tyre maker, “deliver high grip and mileage performance from the first to the last millimetre of wear.” Hankook will also present the smaller SmartFlex AH35 and DH35 as well as the SmartFlex TH31, its latest generation trailer tyre. It will also show two tyres from the Hankook Alphatread range, the all-season R-DH31 for the drive axle and the R-TH31.

Alongside Hankook truck tyres, the company will present two tyres from its Laufenn brand, the all-position LF22 designed for long life steer axle service and the LF95 trailer tyre.

As well as main event sponsor, Hankook shall serve as category sponsor of ‘Best in Show Truck’ and ‘Best in Show Light Commercial’. Open to any drivers showcasing their vehicle at the events, these awards recognise those owners and operatives who go above and beyond to meet road and industry standards, including vehicle and tyre maintenance and safety.

A great opportunity

The shows, which support local charities and community projects in the Devon and Cornwall area, already have more than one thousand three hundred trucks booked to attend, and we are looking forward to another successful year.”
