ZC Rubber sheds further light on Indonesia factory plan

Zhongce Rubber Group Co., Ltd (ZC Rubber) has officially confirmed its intention to establish a new tyre factory in Indonesia. Located within the Kendal Industrial Park near Semarang, in Central Java, the production base will cover an area of 500,000 square metres. ZC Rubber expects construction to be completed within a period of 10 months.
“We are thrilled to establish our presence in Indonesia, reinforcing our commitment to delivering high-quality tyres to meet the demand of both local consumers and key overseas markets such as the United States,” states Henry Shen, vice president of ZC Rubber. “This investment showcased our commitment to excellence and marks a pivotal step in our global expansion strategy.”
ZC Rubber has yet to publish details about planned annual capacity and specific product mix. It does share, however, that the new factory’s “strategic location” offers “trade advantages and access to natural rubber resources.” Indeed, the company describes Indonesia as an “ideal hub for ZC Rubber’s ambitious growth plan.” As for the facility itself, this will be “equipped with cutting-edge digitalised technology and staffed by highly skilled professionals,” enabling it to “uphold the highest standards of quality and innovation.”
In addition to the USA and other key markets that Henry Shen names as intended recipients of tyres from Indonesia, ZC Rubber says the facility’s production will “address the local demand for high quality tyres across everyday consumer applications and logistical needs.”
A statement announcing the new facility in Indonesia betrays the company’s enthusiasm for this latest project: “ZC Rubber’s dedication to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction is exemplified in this strategic move, reaffirming its position as a global tyre industry leader with an unwavering commitment to further globalisation.”
