UTH presenting latest generation machines at Tire Technology Expo

Fulda-based UTH GmbH will showcase its latest machine generation at Tire Technology Expo 2024, taking place from 19-21 March in Hannover. The company will present its current product line-up, offering solutions that have “established themselves worldwide as the standard for gentle and clean processing of rubber compounds”.
UTH GmbH specializes in the further development of the roll-ex fine mesh strainer and gear pump technology to create “customized solutions that meet the increasing demands for quality, resource efficiency, sustainability and cost-effectiveness in the rubber and tyre industry”.
The roll-ex extrusion system developed by UTH is known for its particularly gentle processing of rubber compounds. With throughputs of up to 10,000 kg/h, gear pump extruder and strainer solutions are designed for cost-effective performance in mixing lines in the tyre industry. In particular, inline straining offers advantages in tyre production, which are shown, for example, when straining masterbatch stages or final batch. The modular combination of the patented gear pump with a two-roll feeder (TRF) or a conical double-screw extruder (DSE) allows integration in almost all mixing lines.
At their booth, UTH will also present continuous strip-making solutions with optional straining capability. To meet these requirements, a compact straining cell consisting of a gear pump with a single screw extruder as well as a cooling line and stacking unit is used.
Visitors will also learn more about the TRP technology (Two-Roll Plasticizer), which is also based on patented gear pump technology used in tire manufacturing for sustainable, resource-efficient processing of rework material.
