Richard Edy dies aged 79

Richard Edy, who was NTDA director for 25 years, died on Tuesday 13 February aged 79. He leaves behind his wife, sister, three children and eight grandchildren. Edy served as director of the association from 1989 to 2014.

On behalf of Tyre Industry Publications Ltd, sincere condolences to the family. On a personal note, I always remember Richard Edy’s professional kindness to me, introducing me to key retailers and wholesalers when I started my career in the tyre business 20 years ago – characteristics that will be familiar to many who knew him.
