Prometeon joins ETRMA

Prometeon Tyre Group has become a full corporate member of ETRMA effective immediately. ETRMA president Chris Delaney welcomed the decision, saying: “I am thrilled to welcome Prometeon as a full Member of ETRMA. Their membership will enhance the representativeness and expertise of the organisation”.
Established in 2017 following its divestiture from Pirelli Tyre Group, Prometeon is a multi-brand manufacturer of truck, bus, agricultural and Off The Road (OTR) tyres distributed all over the world, with headquarters in Italy.
“We are pleased to join ETRMA, and we look forward to working with the other members and the Secretariat to pursue a supportive legislative and regulatory environment for the industry”, said Roberto Righi, general manager of Prometeon Tyre Group.
ETRMA secretary general Adam McCarthy welcomed Prometeon joining the association, noting: “with Prometeon, our critical mass is growing and together we can create strong synergies to work even more efficiently to address the policy challenges ahead of us”.
Following the addition of Prometeon, ERTMA now represents 13 global tyre manufacturers producing tyres in Europe.
