Linglong debuts 57” tyres

It is only a short while since Linglong Tire began producing 49-inch OTR tyres at its facility in Jilin, China, but these are no longer the largest tyres made there. Linglong has upsized its production portfolio in Jilin by manufacturing the first 57-inch tyres.
The first tyre made is the Linglong Rock Primacy pattern in size 46/90R57 tyre, a product weighing close to 4 tonnes and with a diameter of 3.6 metres. With a load capacity of 63 tonnes, the tyre is suitable for large mining dump trucks.
Linglong Tire has expressed an ambition to “become a major player in the global off-highway tyre market.” It joins an increasingly competitive market, with its rivals in China having expanded OTR tyre production capacity in recent years.
