Goodyear partners with TyreCall in Ireland

Goodyear has appointed TyreCall as “a Full Service Distribution (FSD) partner” in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. According to Goodyear, the strategic partnership will help Goodyear “manage stock, simplify the sales process, and improve the service offered to retailers. “
From March, retailers will be able to buy both Goodyear and Dunlop-branded stock directly from Tyrecall, a leading independent tyre distribution in Ireland. The move will “boost the efficiency of stock management and delivery” and expand Goodyear’s ability to “ensure brand availability, making it easier to respond to customer demands”, according to Goodyear.
Jamie Stevens, Head of Consumer Sales UK & Ireland, Goodyear: “The addition of Tyrecall to our delivery network will strengthen the presence, and offering, of Goodyear and Dunlop in the market. Goodyear’s ambitions to streamline and expand how its products reach the final retail customers will have a positive impact on its proposition.
“It will allow Goodyear to ensure brand availability and provide a better service to our customers. It represents a big change, but the partnership will allow us to grow and ultimately give us the infrastructure to enhance the service we provide to retailers.”
Niall Murray, managing director, TyreCall: “We are very excited by the prospect of adding two such iconic brands, Goodyear and Dunlop, to our portfolio and we look forward to working with the Team at Goodyear Ireland to deliver on their ambitions for streamlining availability and continuing to improve on the critical area of service being offered to their expanding customer base.”
