Bridgestone names Mühlhäuser VP North Europe

Christian Mühlhäuser, Managing Director of Bridgestone Central Europe since July 2019, has taken on additional responsibilities at the tyre maker. As our sister publication Reifenpresse.de reports, from today he is also acting as Vice President North Europe within Bridgestone EMEA.

“The extended range of tasks will enable me to live my passion for mobility and excellent customer service to an ever-greater extent in future,” says Mühlhäuser. “I’m therefore excited about working closely with my team and our business partners to achieve joint success. Together, I would like to continue to drive forward our vision of a more sustainable mobility.”

Mühlhäuser joined Bridgestone as Managing Director of the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region in mid-2018, switching from Pirelli, where he’d spent the best part of a quarter century. Mühlhäuser began his career with Pirelli as a trainee in 1993 and, aside from a year away from the company, held various positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as CEO of Pirelli-owned firm Driver Reifen und KFZ-Technik.
