Yokohama OE on 2025 Subaru Forester

The Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. is supplying Geolandar G91 tyres as original equipment (OE) for the 2025 US model Forester, which was unveiled in November 2023. The SUV is being fitted with 225/60R17 99H tyres.

The particular Yokohama Geolandar G91 OE tyres were developed by “utilizing specialized tuning to match their tread pattern, profile, and tyre structure” to the Forester’s vehicle characteristics. Yokohama also used its proprietary HAICoLab AI-based development framework. HAICoLab, which means Humans and AI ColLaborate”, reportedly helped develop “the highly quiet ride” via “an optimal pitch sequence”, something that was obtained using “evolutionary computation (genetic algorithms)”. Since its debut in 1997, the Forester has been embraced by a wide range of global customers and occupies with a key role in the Subaru product portfolio. This sixth-generation Forester reportedly offers enhanced “functionality and practicality with excellent driving performance”.
