Tyroola Europe operations shuttered after Michelin buy-out

Following the news that Michelin has bought Australian e-commerce business Tyroola, Tyres & Accessories observed that the company also operates certain websites in Europe via a Dutch legal entity – Tyroola B.V.

However, while that wing of the company is registered in the Netherlands and, according to its website, also operates business in Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, it now seems those operations have been shuttered following the Michelin buy-out.

In response to an enquiry from our sister title, Neue Reifenzeitung, Michelin Group stated that Tyroola B.V. discontinued the operation of the tyroola.de, tyroola.nl and tyroola.it websites in December. Accordingly, the websites are no longer accessible.
