Sailun’s Vietnam plant begins rubber track production

With additions made during the third phase of Sailun Group’s Vietnam factory project now operational, the plant has started manufacturing rubber tracks. Members of the Sailun management team recently invited partners and plant employees to a ceremony celebrating the inauguration of track production.
The facility in Vietnam’s Tay Ninh Province is now equipped to make the complete Sailun range of PCR, TBR, OTR, giant OTR tyres and tracks. Sailun believes itself to be the first Chinese tyre maker capable of producing a full range within an overseas plant.
The first rubber track specification is the Maxam MT130 in 450X86X58, a product designed for loaders. Sailun shares that in terms of structural design, this type of track “boasts high strength” and is suitable for a range of models, including loaders, excavators, various construction machinery, and agricultural equipment, addressing diverse and complex road conditions.
The track features a new H-shaped pattern, providing enhanced traction for loaders. The use of a rubber formula with strong resistance to punctures and cuts ensures an extended service life.
A new chapter
Sailun set up the track manufacturing unit in just over seven months. After engaging in “thorough market research on rubber tracks,” Sailun began working on the project in May 2023.
“The debut of the first rubber track marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Vietnam plant,” states the company. “Sailun Group is committed to making substantial advancements in this field, continually enhancing product quality and service, and delivering high-quality rubber tracks to customers worldwide.”
