Prinx Europe – growth to follow success in 2024

Prinx Europe says it is raising the bar after an “extremely successful 2023,” with “big plans” already in place for this year. The tyre maker intends to further grow both its European dealer network and local product range in 2024.
This expansion follows a 2023 in which Prinx Europe launched five passenger car and two commercial vehicle tyres, gained TÜV certification for the Winter Excelia passenger car tyre range, participated in five trade fairs in four countries and launched the premium oriented Prinx brand. Prinx Europe also claims to have increased its sales by a hefty 3,169 per cent in the first half of the year.
All Prinx Europe tyres are designed to meet European market requirements and local weather conditions, and Prinx Chengshan produces the majority of these models within its state-of-the-art factory in Thailand. Commercial vehicle models coming to market in 2023 included the TH135 for mega trailers and C901 bus tyre. Both feature technologies such as an irregular tread wear indicator (LCI) as standard.
Step on the gas
This year, Prinx Europe plans to attend even more international trade fairs, hold more customer events and further increase its sales. But above all, it aims to bring more partners on board. The planned ongoing expansion of the dealer network includes wholesale, retail, original equipment and the fleet segment. The company expanded its sales and marketing team at the end of 2023 to facilitate these goals, and this year it will also add the position of OE/Fleet Manager.
“We want to step on the gas even more,” states Adrian Costache, Prinx Europe’s sales director. “The feedback at the trade fairs was overwhelmingly positive and constructive.” He adds that customers told Prinx Europe which additions to the range they hoped to see in the near future. “We listened to what customers and the market needs. And we have passed on product-specific information to our development department.”
Costache continues: “Of course, we can’t reveal anything concrete yet, but can advance: We will continue to surprise and challenge our competitors with our range in 2024.”
