Pirelli supplies bespoke P Zero, Scorpion tyres to Porsche Cayenne facelift

Pirelli has supplied tyres to every generation of the Porsche Cayenne since it was introduced in 2002, a partnership that is continuing with the latest facelift model. Pirelli is supplying the P Zero ultra-high performance summer tyre, the sports performance P Zero Corsa, and the Scorpion Winter 2 cold weather tyre in special bespoke versions. Pirelli will also offer the Scorpion Zero All Season in some markets. The tyres cover every size option on the new model, which features rim sizes between 20 and 22 inches.
Each of the Cayenne-specified Pirelli tyres are noteworthy for different reasons. The P Zero has achieved A-grade wet grip on the European label in all sizes; the P Zero Corsa is derived from the tyre that helped the Porsche Cayenne GT to set a record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 2021; and the Cayenne becomes one of the first vehicles to receive a specific Pirelli Scorpion Winter 2 tyre approved for the winter season.
Pirelli has been a feature of the Cayenne since the very first generation was launched in 2002, pioneering the sports SUV segment. From the first model to the present day, Pirelli has always worked alongside the Stuttgart-based manufacturer to develop tyres that follow the evolution of its models, such as the Cayenne S Hybrid – the first hybrid in the Porsche range – then the Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid (a plug-in hybrid version), right up to the current Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid: the most powerful Cayenne ever introduced alongside the traditional powertrain facelift.
