Linglong Serbia’s semi-steel tyre core workshop completed construction

On 28 December 2023, the core workshop (BO 006PCR) of the semi-steel radial tyre production line of Linglong’s Serbian factory passed the trial operation acceptance. In other words, Linglong has taken another big step towards producing passenger car tyres at its Serbia factory.

China First Highway Engineering Co., LTD. (CFHEC), the construction unit of the workshop, said that the official delivery of BO 006PCR, covering an area of 120,000 square metres to Linglong, marked the transition of the semi-steel tyre production line from “construction” to “commissioning”.

Linglong did not respond to CFHEC’s disclosure, nor did it disclose when it would start trial production of semi-steel radial tyres. In the news announced not long ago, Linglong stated that the semi-steel radial tyre production line at the Serbian factory would first achieve an annual production capacity of 4 million tyres. By the end of 2024, the plant’s semi-steel project is expected to reach a yearly production capacity of 6 million pieces.
