Hexpol names Klas Dahlberg as CEO

Hexpol AB (publ.) has appointed Klas Dahlberg as CEO and president of the company effective 1 July 2024 at the latest. Dahlberg’s appointment follows the sudden death of predecessor Georg Brunstam who died suddenly on 1 September 2023.

Klas Dahlberg currently holds the position as Head of Business Area NIBE Climate Solutions. He has been with NIBE since 2016 and he has been responsible for NIBE Climate Solutions since 2018. Prior to joining NIBE, he had a successful international career spanning over a 30-year period with the Scania group, with his last position being responsible for the division of Buses & Coaches. Dahlberg has lived and worked in Germany for many years. He holds a M.Sc. in Engineering from Lund University, Sweden.

Writing at the time Georg Brunstam passed away, Alf Göransson, Chairman of Hexpol AB (publ.) commented:  “Georg will be deeply missed within HEXPOL, both on a personal and on a professional level. Georg has created a strong organization with many highly skilled and qualified managers. The Board of Directors is now forced to start the search for a new CEO and President. Peter Rosén has been appointed acting CEO and President during this process”.
