China announces 2023 green manufacturing list

The “2023 Green Manufacturing List” announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China commends companies with outstanding performance in the field of green manufacturing. Tyrepress China notes that several companies related to the tyre industry were selected as “Green Factories” and “Green Supply Chain Management Companies”.
The tyre companies that entered the “Green Factory” list include Bridgestone (Wuxi), Sanli, Prinx Chengshan (Shandong), Dezhou Linglong, and Guangxi Linglong.
Two tyre-related companies, Xingda and Bekaert, were also selected as green factories.
At the same time, Triangle was rated as a “Green Supply Chain Management Companies”.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the assessment of the green manufacturing list is to “promote the high-end, intelligent, and green development of manufacturing and accelerate the construction of a green manufacturing and service system”. Authorities in various regions “should strengthen the connection between units included in the green manufacturing list and relevant industrial policies and give full play to the exemplary role of the companies on the list”.
