Bridgestone to demonstrate solutions for commercial fleets at CES 2024

Bridgestone will exhibit its Bridgestone Fleet Care portfolio of tyre products, services and solutions when it returns to Las Vegas’s Consumer Electronics Show (Booth 4465 in West Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center; 9-12 January). The end-to-end customer experience targets sustainability, efficiency, safety and productivity in fleets of all sizes with a range of customisable options. The company will also host its strategic partners Truckers Against Trafficking, Kodiak, and Penske to discuss how the transportation industry can help address today’s societal challenges. The panels will be live-streamed for those unable to attend the show in person.
Bridgestone wants to demonstrate how the combination of leading tyres, services and technologies can “unlock new value”, in the firm’s words, especially focusing on ease of use and efficiency. Its fleet management tools, connecting tyre products and servicing, aim to deliver insights and data to commercial fleet managers, helping them to improve sustainability and efficiency while maximising safety and productivity.
Technologies brought together within the package include Enliten technology, a new global manufacturing philosophy that targets the simultaneous improvement of dynamic performance and increased use of renewable and recycled materials. Bridgestone’s recently announced expansion to its tyre plant in Warren County, Tennessee will integrate Enliten technology for commercial applications in the North American market. Bridgestone Fleet Care also integrates its Bandag retreading operations that extend the life of fleets’ casing assets and contribute to their sustainability goals; the Fleet Care tyre dealer network that Bridgestone claims is the largest by points of sale in USA; Tyre Solutions, the real-time tyre monitoring and asset management solutions designed to improve tyre life and total cost of ownership; and Bridgestone Fleet Care management solutions, which include GPS tracking, video telematics, driver behaviour management, accident reduction solutions, route optimization and asset utilisation tools.
Bridgestone will also demonstrate its promotion of sustainability through motorsport partnerships via the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge for global university engineering teams. Bridgestone’s partnership with non-profit Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) will also debut a new TAT technology that will make it easier to report signs of human trafficking on America’s roadways.
In addition to the company’s human trafficking panel, on January 10 Bridgestone will join self-driving trucking company Kodiak Robotics for a discussion on maximising safety and productivity for fleets. Kodiak’s founder will also share the emotional journey that drove his vision for the future of fleet transportation, and how Bridgestone’s partnership is helping to realize that vision. On January 11, Bridgestone will join Penske for a conversation on fleet industry challenges in “meeting ambitious goals for sustainability and energy efficiency.” Fleets are working hard to reduce their carbon footprint for a cleaner future for mobility, and Bridgestone is coming alongside fleets to enable them with the technologies they will need to be successful.
