Vulkan Group acquires Euromaster’s remaining business in Denmark
After plans to sell its entire network in Demark to NDI Group fell through earlier this year, Euromaster Group sold nine of its branches to Super Dæk Service. Under a separate agreement, the Michelin-owned company will transfer its remaining activities and employees to Vulkan Group ApS. From 1 January 2024, the 22 Euromaster centres as well as the operation’s sales and administrative departments – more than 170 employees in total – will become part of Vulkan Dæk A/S. Euromaster Danmark and Vulkan will work together until the end of December to ensure a smooth transition for both employees and customers.
Vulkan Group is a family-owned Danish company that owns Vulkan Dæk. Established in 1963, Vulkan Dæk produces retreaded tyres for the transport industry and serves customers in Denmark, Sweden and Norway – specialising in the Michelin Recamic and Marangoni RingTread systems.
Many things in common
“We are pleased to announce the agreement with Euromaster Danmark today, as we have many things in common,” says Henrik Nielsen, chief executive of Vulkan Dæk.
“Euromaster Danmark and Vulkan already know each other well, as Vulkan has been producing and selling Michelin’s retreaded product line, Recamic, through Euromaster Danmark for several years,” says Benoît Heubert, chief executive officer of the Euromaster Group. “I am pleased that our Danish employees will soon be joining Vulkan A/S. We know that their unique expertise and know-how will be recognised.
“They will all play a key role in maintaining service levels for all business segments and customers,” Heubert continues. “I am excited about the future as Euromaster Danmark and Vulkan A/S share the same passion for both employees and customers.”
