Petlas presents new agri additions

Petlas Tire Corporation was represented at this year’s Agritechnica 2023 with its two brands Petlas and Starmaxx and presented its wide range of agricultural tyre solutions. Products on display included new flotation radials and VF tyres for tractors and sprayers.

The expanded flotation radial range covers fitments for trailers, tippers, tanks and machinery such as spreaders. Two models, PT-Flot and PT-Haul, cover differing requirements within this segment. Petlas says that PT-Flot is characterised by its versatility and offers balanced performance both in the field and on the road. It designed PT-Haul, on the other hand, for trailers and tanks that are mainly driven on paved roads. Building on the success of the initial 560/60 R22.5 radial tyre size, Petlas has expanded its range to include sought after dimensions such as 710/50 R26.5, 600/55 R26.5, 650/55 R26.5 and 560/45 R22.5.

Visitors to the Petlas stand also saw new VF sizes for tractors and sprayers. With these, the Turkish tyre maker is responding to “sizeable demand from OEM partners.” The newly introduced dimensions include VF520/85 R42, VF520/85 R46 and VF380/90 R46 and demonstrate Petlas’ “commitment to meeting the market’s requirements with precision and quality.” To meet growing demand for VF tyres, especially in Western Europe, Petlas plans to introduce twelve new VF sizes in 2024 to further expand its VF tyre portfolio.
