Insolvency proceedings commence for Superior Industries Production Germany

The self-administration order in place during insolvency proceedings for Superior Industries Production Germany GmbH, represented by managing directors Sven Damm and Maximilian Funk, has been cancelled. Insolvency proceedings for the wheel manufacturer opened on 1 December.

Mannheim-based lawyer Jens Lieser has been appointed provisional insolvency administrator. Claims must be filed by 1 February 2024. A creditors’ meeting will be held at the insolvency court in Neustadt an der Weinstraße (Rhineland-Palatinate) on 26 February.

Superior Industries Production Germany is the subsidiary of Superior Industries International responsible for the company’s aluminium wheel manufacturing facility in Werdohl, Germany.
