DJSI World & Asia Pacific renew Bridgestone listings

Bridgestone Corporation has once again been selected for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World). This is the second consecutive year Bridgestone has appeared in the globally recognised sustainability index and the fifth occasion in total.

In addition, Bridgestone has been selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index (DJSI Asia Pacific), which is comprised of companies located in the Asia Pacific region, for a 14th consecutive time.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Index is a series of sustainability indexes for investors compiled by S&P Dow Jones Indices, which has assessed more than 10,000 applicable companies’ quantitative measurements of their sustainability. The Index looks at environmental, social, and governance & economic factors and highlights companies ranked in the top ten per cent of their respective industries every year. In 2023, S&P Dow Jones Indices selected 321 of 2,500 major companies for DJSI World and 156 of 600 in the Asia Pacific region for DJSI Asia Pacific. This year, Bridgestone is selected for both indices within the Automobile and Components industry group.
