Toyo joins ETRMA

ETRMA Members formally approved the application of Toyo Tires to become a full Member of the Association as of 1 January 2024 during ETRMA’s 9 November board meeting.

Outgoing ETRMA president, Franco Annunziato, welcomed the Board decision: “I am delighted to be able to welcome Toyo Tires into the ETRMA. Toyo’s joining is a vote of confidence in the Association’s crucial work in pursuing a supportive legislative and regulatory environment for the industry. Toyo Tires’ Membership will enhance the representativeness and expertise of ETRMA”.

ETRMA secretary general, Adam McCarthy, also welcomed Toyo: “The Secretariat and I look forward to working with the colleagues from Toyo Tires as we address the policy challenges ahead of us”.

Kenta Kuribayashi, president of Toyo Tires Holding of Europe, said: “We are pleased that as a member of the ETRMA we can actively contribute to the implementation of standards and their processes in order to create a favourable environment that helps us as a tyre manufacturer to ensure our approach to sustainability and to protect the environment and resources, but also to strengthen our competitiveness in the long term.”
