Shaftec ranks highest for coverage, wins TecDoc Premier Data Supplier status

Shaftec has been ranked number one in the UK for coverage across its product groups: transmission, steering, and braking. The aftermarket supplier has also achieved TecDoc Premier Supplier status (PDS).

Shaftec CEO, Mitesh Thanki, said: “The cornerstone of our business is built on three things: quality, availability, and range. The company has worked closely with the Elcome team using its Xchecker Cataloguing System to deliver its data to TecDoc since 2016. To achieve TecDoc’s Premier Data Supplier status requires a company to meet 13 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) consistently and to a 99 percent minimum degree of accuracy. This performance is reviewed every quarter to retain the status title.

Shaftec is ranked the UK’s number one for vehicle parc coverage in driveshafts, brake calipers, steering racks, steering pumps, and steering columns. Shaftec’s driveshaft programme comes in at almost 10 per cent higher than its next leading competitor, while its caliper programme achieves 96.65 percent UK coverage.
