Sentury Tire: 1 million OE tyres & increased aviation business

During an earnings presentation held on 8 November, China’s Sentury Tire shared its expectation of selling more than one million original equipment tyres in 2023. The company added that it is focusing on “mid- to high-end” OEMs.

Sentury Tire also reported progress within the aviation tyre segment, elaborating that it has “continued to supply small quantities” of its aircraft tyres to various customers. Specifically, Sentury has supplied the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) with tyres developed for the ARJ21-700 regional jet. At the same time, Sentury Tire is “steadily advancing the development of customers in the field of aviation tyre applications.”
