Prinx Europe presenting Austone highlights at Solutrans
Prinx Europe is teaming up with its French wholesale partner Doumerc Pneus International (DPI) at next week’s Solutrans commercial vehicle show and will present highlights from the Austone tyre portfolio. The tyre maker will focus on construction tyres and models certified by inspection body TÜV for regional transport.
Four new models will be in the spotlight. Prinx Europe will present two all-season, TÜV-certified tyres, the Austone ADR 606 and AAR 603 for wear-intensive regional commercial applications. It will also display the on/off-road Austone AAM 210 and ADM 215, which it also designed for winter use and aims at mixed road and construction site applications.
All four of these Austone tyres are 3PMSF marked and come with Prinx Europe’s assurance of suitability for being retreaded twice. Adrian Costache, sales director for Prinx Europe, speaks of numerous benefits, including outstanding cost per kilometre. “With these models we can meet the growing demand for environmentally friendly, high-performance tyres that minimise rolling resistance and reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions in the most popular sizes.”
Austone regional transport tyres
Austone AAR 603 tyres for local public transport applications come in 15 dimensions and are suitable for any axle position. Prinx Europe says the tyre “offers huge mileage” and can be used with combustion engine, hybrid or electric buses. Short braking distances as assured by ‘Movematic’ slats that cause the tread to stiffen during travel.
The tyre maker adds that AAR 603 combines 3PMSF capability with low rolling resistance and even tread wear throughout the entire life of the tyre, particularly in the shoulders. AAR 603 fulfils TÜV SÜD requirements in four key areas: robustness, wet braking, rolling resistance and pass-by noise. With its highly wear-resistant tread compound optimised for traction, the ADR 606 drive tyre also delivers similar key performance data and “stands out with its attractive, modern design.”
Robustness key for mixed use tyres
For tyres used on construction sites, mud removal, self-cleaning and wear resistance on all surfaces are defining features, the priority being performance and protection against damage. Prinx Europe states that Austone ADM 215 “offers superb off-road traction on the drive axle,” while the AAM 210 “provides grip and mileage in any axle position.” The company’s Protect-Armour technology provides extra protection against casing and tread damage.
All four tyres exhibited at Lyon feature an indicator for uneven tread wear as standard. “It’s a simple yet effective solution for greater efficiency and sustainability,” comments Adrian Costache. “Every detail is important.”
Visit Prinx at Solutrans
Between 21 and 25 November, Prinx Europe will inhabit stand C104 at Solutrans 2023. As well as being its Solutrans debut, next week’s event will be the company’s last trade fair appearance of this year.
