Point S sponsors women’s world handball championship
Point S has become official sponsor of the 26th International Handball Federation’s Women’s World Championship, which will be held in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Point S previously sponsored the 25th Women’s World Championship in Japan in 2019 and the 2022 European Women’s Handball Championship.
The tournament will see 32 of the best women’s national handball teams from all over the world compete to be crowned the best on the planet. Teams from Europe, Africa, North America, Central America, South America, and Asia will travel to venues in Herning, Frederikshavn, Stavanger, Trondheim, Helsingborg, and Gothenburg to participate in the event, which takes place from 29 November to 17 December.
The partnership continues Point S’s longstanding association with elite women’s handball. In 2019, the company proudly sponsored the 2019 IHF Women’s Handball World Championship in Kumamoto, Japan, while 2022 saw the business sponsor the 2022 European Handball Federation’s (EHF’s) Women’s Handball Championship.

These values are central to our ambition to provide customers with a first-class service, and I am delighted that we are promoting these ideals and practices in our sponsorship of the 26th IHF Women’s World Championship. The global Point S family wishes everyone from the participating countries the best of luck for the championship.”
Muriel Clarke, Point S International Brand and Licences manager, said: “We are immensely proud to continue our association with elite handball.
