Pirelli confirms top S&P Global score

Pirelli reports that it achieved a top score in sustainability with the Auto Components and Automotive sectors in S&P Global’s 2023 Corporate Sustainability Assessment. The news emerged from the results published by S&P Global, which is also the basis for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability indices.

And what’s more, Pirelli’s 83-point score is the highest of the Auto Components and Automotive sectors. It is also higher than the sector average of 26 points for the auto components and 33 points for the Automotive sector.

Pirelli obtained top scores in many areas of management. In particular, in the areas of Business Ethics, innovation, independence, diversity policy and at the Board level. And once again, for attention to human rights, health and safety, supplier codes of conduct, management of climate change, reduction of CO2 emissions, management of biodiversity, environmental sustainability of products and cyber security.

The update of the composition of the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe Indices, of which Pirelli is part, will be announced by S&P Global on 8 December 2023.
