Federal chairman and general manager resigns

On 1 November, Federal Corporation announced that chairman and general manager Chen Heng Kuan resigned “due to other official duties”.

The tyre manufacturer did not announce Chen Heng Kuan’s successor but said the new chairman and general manager are subject to re-election by the board of directors.

In the subsequent change of legal representative, Guo Linq Liang, chairman of Nankang, succeeded Chen Heng Kuan and became the new legal representative of the Federal.

It is worth noting that Chen Heng Kuan has not been a member of the Federal for a long time. On 8 November 2022, he was appointed to the Federal board of directors as a representative of Nankang. On 18 November of the same year, Chen Heng Kuan succeeded Chiang Ching Hsing and became the chairman and general manager of Federal.
