Falken Ziex ZE001 A/S OE on Subaru Levorg Layback

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. has begun supplying Falken Ziex ZE001 A/S all-season tyres to Subaru as factory standard tyres on the Levorg Layback, which was unveiled in September 2023. The latest Levorg Layback has been developed for the Japanese market by Subaru to stand out within the brands’ SUV lineup.

Falken Ziex ZE001 A/S tyres have also been used on Subaru’s Crosstrek SUV and are said to provide “all-around high performance, combining outstanding steering stability with excellent fuel efficiency on both dry roads and snow”.

Company representatives report that “consumer interest in all-season tyres has been steadily growing in recent years, as these tyres can be used year-round and can handle any type of weather, which means that you will never have to worry about sudden snow.”

At the same time, thanks to the adoption of a new rubber compound, the tyres also achieve “a significant reduction in rolling resistance while maintaining the same high level of grip”.
