ChatGPT helping Hankook Tire to gain EV insights
Why survey people when you can draw upon all the wisdom of the internet? Hankook Tire & Technology has turned to artificial intelligence to gain insights into consumer attitudes towards electric vehicles, developing a Voice of Customer (VOC) analysis system based upon ChatGPT for this purpose. The Korean firm collaborated with data cloud computing companies Amazon Web Services and Snowflake to build an integrated VOC data analysis system.
Hankook Tire shares that its new VOC system enhances the reliability of collected data by dramatically reducing the impact of “hallucination” – false or misleading information that AI presents as fact. Using AWS’s Bedrock platform, Hankook analysed a vast quantity of VOC collected online in real-time and has built a monitoring system that enables this VOC to be utilised immediately.
Insights gained through this analysis system will form a part of Hankook Tire’s efforts to meet the needs of EV customers throughout the entire lifecycle of its products, including development, production, and quality management. In particular, Hankook expects to improve the technological and qualitative competitiveness of its iON brand.
