ATD launches Radius tyre and parts hub
At the end of October, American Tire Distributors (ATD) launched ‘Radius,’ a new digital hub designed to integrate tyres, parts, services, and solutions into one connected experience for the automotive aftermarket.
Radius is made up of a suite of tools that are designed to help optimize both sales and service. Core solutions include data-driven software tools for streamlining operations and reducing stale inventory; and programs designed to offer a competitive edge based on warranties, discounts, training, growth bonuses, and more.
“We’re excited to unveil Radius, and with it, usher in a new era of connectivity and simplicity to better serve our customers. We strive every day to be the most connected and insightful automotive solutions provider, and with this new platform, the industry takes another step forward towards a more integrated, data-driven future,” said Stuart Schuette, president and CEO of ATD.
For ATD, the addition of Radius advances the company from a diversified wholesale tyre distributor to “a connected physical and digital platform that fuels innovation and growth in the broader automotive aftermarket”.
American Tire Distributors is one of the largest independent suppliers of tyres to the US replacement market. It operates more than 115 distribution centres, serving approximately 80,000 customers across the US. ATD employs approximately 4,500 associates across its distribution centre network.
