Anlas debuts new products at EICMA

Several new Anlas tyres have arrived and are currently enjoying their public debut at the EICMA show in Milan. These are the Anlas Capra RD 2 and Tournée 2. The new arrivals share stand space with the 2022-launched Anlas Capra XR and numerous other products.

Capra RD 2 – for adventure riders

Anlas has introduced a successor to the Capra RD, a tyre it has “meticulously developed to offer enhanced performance in terms of grip and the thrill of sporty riding.” The new Capra RD 2 features a new compound derived from Anlas’s high-performance R&D developments, boasting a high silica rate and SSPR solutions. Anlas comments that these ensure “outstanding performance for riders.”

Tournée 2 – for rain & curve control

Introducing the Tournée 2, Anlas reports that this addition to its range “offers superior performance during rainy weather and exceptional curve control.” The first dimensions in the Tournée 2 line-up began arriving earlier this year, and Anlas has now expanded the range to cater to a broader audience, including maxi scooter riders with radial sizes.

Capra XR – on- and off-road

Introduced in 2022, Anlas shares that the Capra XR has “already won the hearts of adventure riders with its superior on-road and off-road performance.” BMW Motorrad Turkey has selected the New Capra XR as the official tyre for its 2023 GS Challenge Camp Turkey, and the tyre maker considers this “a testament to its remarkable quality.”

Supporting two-wheel sports

Anlas states that it is “dedicated to supporting various motorcycle sports.” For the sixth consecutive year, the Turkish two-wheel tyre specialist is honoured to be the official tyre supplier of the FIM Speedway GP World Championship, and this collaboration will continue in 2024. Additionally, Anlas says it is delighted to continue its support for Turkish women riders in collaboration with Yamaha Turkey and the Turkish Motorcycle Federation, endorsing all women riders who participate in the Yamaha Women’s Cup.

Moreover, Anlas is increasingly present as sponsor in Italy, participating in events and competitions such as the Italian Hard Enduro Championship, Sardegna Legend Rally, Rally delle Marche, Italian Enduro Championship and collaborating with well-known Italian champions such as Oscar Polli and Fabio Fasola. The tyre maker has also entered into a collaboration with Bimota for the development of its enduro range, with which it participated and reached second place in the Italian Enduro Championship. Anlas will supply Capra Ext tyres for the new BX450 and will be present on the new Tera bike with WinterGrip Plus and Viento Turismo. “This collaboration is a huge milestone for Anlas and Bimota, allowing the two companies to collaborate to improve and perfect their enduro line,” comments Anlas.

Expanding presence in the electric scooter market

A partnership with Askoll has expanded Anlas’s presence in the electric scooter sector and scooter-sharing markets. This original equipment agreement covers a range of products, such as Tournée and WinterGrip 2, the latter tyre being fitted to all Askoll scooters used by Ecooltra, Milan’s first scooter sharing firm.

Revved up for golden anniversary

Anlas also shares that it is gearing up to celebrate its 50th year in 2024, marking a “significant milestone in its journey.”
