Altered remits for Bridgestone’s Shida, Watanabe
Last month, Bridgestone Corporation announced many changes within its management team that will take effect on 1 January 2024 as part of a wider restructuring of management operations. The company has now given word that it is further tweaking the roles of two of these managers.
Yoshikazu Shida gained the upcoming position of Vice President and Senior Officer Responsible for Global Business Support. Bridgestone further announced today that Shida will additionally take responsibility for Global Corporate Communication Officer (CCO) and Global Public Relations. These changes, like those already announced, apply from the start of next year.
Shinichi Watanabe is already tasked with becoming Chief Quality Officer & Quality Management within the new for 2024. Bridgestone East region. Bridgestone has announced a subtle change to Watanabe’s upcoming job title – from 1 January 2024, he will be Vice President and Senior Officer Responsible for Corporate Quality Officer (CQO) Quality Management within Bridgestone East.
