Agritechnica debut for new Goodyear products
Goodyear Farm Tires will unveil a new product and display its exclusive Low Sidewall range when it heads to Germany for Agritechnica next week. During the show, Goodyear Farm Tires will unveil its new LW Waffle Wheel, which is adjustable to up to eight different track positions (depending on crop row widths) and allows tyres to seat correctly at lower pressures, improving safety.
Visitors to the Goodyear stand –CO4 in Hall 19/20 – will also encounter the Low Sidewall (LSW) range, which offers farmers improved productivity by reducing road lope and power hop. The LSW range features a larger rim diameter and a smaller sidewall than the standard tyre, with benefits including improved flotation, reduced soil compaction and the opportunity to increase load by up to 40 per cent without affecting tyre pressure.
Exciting opportunities in 2024
“Agritechnica is always a real highlight in our calendar and one that generates a lot of excitement amongst our teams across the world,” says Lindsay Hart, sales director for Goodyear Farm Tires Europe. “Missing out on the event in 2021 due to the pandemic was incredibly disappointing but it’s great to be looking forward to a return to Hannover.
“We are excited about the opportunities we have in 2024,” Hart continues. “We are adding to our distributor networks in new territories, such as Poland and Hungary, and the ever-expanding capacity we have at our Turkey manufacturing plant will help is improve stock and reduce lead times.”
Amongst the other products that will be on display is the R-14 Agri-Industrial, a hybrid of agricultural, industrial and turf tyre tread designs which is an ideal solution for multi-application tractors and provides outstanding results on concrete, soft soil and turf. Visitors to the stand will also be able to get a close-up look of the popular Optitrac, which offers premium performance on both the road and field.
Experts from Goodyear Farm Tires, including global agricultural product manager Scott Sloan, will also be on hand to answer any questions that visitors may have.
